Effective date: January 1, 2025
Last updated: May 12, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Certbie website and services at certbie.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium access is available as one-time purchases for 30, 90, or 365 day periods. Payments are processed through Stripe. You can view and manage your subscription from your account dashboard. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support for assistance.

3. Use of the Service

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
  • Share your account credentials with others or access another user's account.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the Service.
  • Attempt to circumvent access controls, paywalls, or usage limits.
  • Misrepresent your identity or qualifications.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on Certbie — including practice questions, explanations, study materials, mind maps, flashcards, articles, and the overall design of the Service — is our intellectual property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

Certification exam names, product names, trademarks, and vendor names referenced on the Service belong to their respective owners. Certbie is an independent practice-test platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any certification vendor unless explicitly stated.

5. Advertising

The Service may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense. These advertisements may use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing behavior and interests in order to serve relevant ads.

You can learn more about how Google and its partners use cookies for advertising and manage your preferences by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

6. User-Generated Content

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or other content to us, you grant Certbie a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that content to improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit does not violate the rights of any third party.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Certbie provides practice tests and study tools for educational purposes only. We do not guarantee that you will pass any certification exam. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Certbie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
